​I’ve spent about 18 years working in newsrooms and B2B companies to provide information through many forms of content that helps others solve problems, achieve goals, increase business outcomes and live better lives.

 

As a journalist, I covered all things news, including big stories like the Boston Marathon bombing and the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings. I broke the sentencing of former Ill. governor Rod Blagojevich, and I interviewed Ludacris at a music festival. In 2014, I helped the country’s largest webteam strategize and roll out the first-ever premium subscription service for a TV station’s digital platform.

 

Eventually, I transitioned to working in human capital and talent management research and education, internal and external communications, content strategy and B2B marketing. Over the years, I’ve produced, edited, and managed content of all sorts, including blogs, e-books, white papers, websites, case studies, customer stories, social media and more.

Outside of work, you'll likely find me practicing yoga, taking or teaching yoga and fitness classes, researching holistic wellness trends, painting, volunteering at various events, checking out new restaurants as they pop up in Charlotte, and spending time with my family and my beloved 8-year-old rescue pup, Captain.
